In addition, Romania has one of the highest rates of cybercrime in Europe, leading to a large number of cases related to the illegal streaming of copyright- protected material. Addressing these issues requires a cohe sive approach that combines legislative harmonization, cross-border cooperation, and updated enforcement measures to tackle the evolving IP threats. This document outlines the Romanian authorities' specific challenges, current legislative frameworks, and strategies to address IP crime effectively.
