Eurojust regularly invites practitioners from national authorities in the EU Member States to work as Seconded National Experts (SNEs). These experts add value in numerous ways, offering knowledge and experience in their specialised areas and fostering cooperation between Eurojust and EU judicial authorities. In return, the secondment is an opportunity for experts to develop new skills and insights that will benefit their home authorities.
As an SNE, you will remain in the service of your employer throughout your secondment and continue to be paid by that employer rather than Eurojust. Eurojust does not provide health insurance, although you may be eligible for a subsistence allowance and travel expenses.
