The 100th action day that took place on 18 September 2019 marks an important milestone for Eurojust.

Action days are one of the judicial tools used by Eurojust to coordinate time-sensitive investigations. In 2018 alone, Eurojust handled over 6.500 cases.

Since 2011, Eurojust provides practical, real-time support to judicial and law enforcement authorities to execute arrests, searches and seizures immediately and simultaneously in several countries. These joint action days are minutely planned and target organised criminal groups across Europe involved in all forms of violent, serious crime.
