This report has been drawn up in accordance with Article 63 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1727 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 November 2018 on the EU Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust) (henceforth, “Eurojust Regulation” or “EJR”), replacing and repealing Council Decision 2002/187/JHA, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2022/8381, and Article 103 of the Eurojust Financial Regulation (FR) of 17 September 2019.
The report summarises Eurojust’s budgetary and financial management during 2023 and outlines the agency’s financial situation, budget evolution and main events with impact on budgetary performance.
In order to provide a complete picture of the agency’s budgetary performance, it should be read in conjunction with other corporate publications for the specific year, such as the Annual Accounts and the Consolidated Annual Activity Report.
