The third plenary meeting of the European Judicial Organised Crime Network (EJOCN) took place on 16–17 April 2026 under the auspices of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union, at Eurojust premises in the Hague. Building on connections established at previous meetings, the network members gathered to discuss recent developments and strengthen their professional cooperation in addressing organised crime and related drug trafficking.

Participants addressed contemporary issues such as criminal underground banking; strategic responses to synthetic drugs; and the presence of Latin American Cartels in Europe, in particular the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). Meetings of the networks newly formed Subgroups took place to define their focus areas and workstreams, and a roundtable on member’s priorities for the Network aided to shape and refine upcoming initiatives.

Furthermore, the event welcomed a delegation of Latin American Prosecutors as guest participants, and provided the opportunity for bi-lateral discussions between prosecutors from the two regions.

This report summarises the discussions from the event.
