The 2024 report on ‘Common Challenges in Cybercrime’ is a collaborative effort between Eurojust and Europol that addresses both persistent and emerging challenges in the realm of cybercrime. This year’s report provides updates on significant developments and introduces information about new legislative tools aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of measures for fighting cybercrime. 

The report provides information on ongoing activities, including joint efforts of Europol and Eurojust, and open issues in relation to each one of the challenges. It also highlights several new EU legislative frameworks, such as the e-evidence Package and the Digital Services Act.
