Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) to establish a list of Remunerated Experts to provide national case law on Intellectual Property (IP) matters for the EUIPO Case Law Database
1. Objective and registration procedure
The purpose of this call for expression of interest is to establish a list of qualified experts in the field of international cooperation in criminal matters (short-term experts and senior short-term experts) to support, on an ad-hoc basis, the implementation of the IP crime case law activity, in particular for the preparation of written products and presentation materials concerning IP crime and related cases that has been finalized in the court system of an EU MS. The focus for this year’s cases will be cases concerning counterfeit products (including cases concerning counterfeits with impact on health and safety, guns, currencies and forged documents), cases where the IP infringement facilitated traditional cybercrime or fraud, cases concerning large scale copyright infringement and cases concerning trade secret theft.
