
The College of Eurojust has decided to extend Vincent Jamin’s mandate as Administrative Director for 4 years. Vincent Jamin has been leading Eurojust’s administration and implementation of key organisational developments since 1 October 2023 when his first term started.
Vincent Jamin commented on his extension: ‘I feel privileged to continue in my role as Administrative Director at a moment when discussions on the revision of Eurojust mandate are starting in Brussels. This represents a unique opportunity to review and enhance our operational support to national authorities. I look forward to working with Eurojust College, post-holders and staff on this important change in the years to come’.
Vincent Jamin is a French prosecutor by profession. He brings with him 25 years of experience in the area of criminal justice, ranging from assignments in the French Ministry of Justice (2003-2010) to several high-level positions at Eurojust since 2010. Before becoming Administrative Director of Eurojust, he served as the head of the Agency’s Operations Department since 2018.
During his first term, Vincent Jamin ensured oversight of key developments for the Agency, in particular the launch of the International Centre for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (ICPA), the setting-up of Core International Crimes Evidence Database (CICED), the start of the European Judicial Organised Crime Network (EJOCN) and the development of the new Case Management System. Throughout his term, he ensured that continuous support is provided to the cross-border investigations that are coordinated by Eurojust.
