Publication cover An updated version of the JITs Practical Guide has been prepared by the EU Network of National Experts on Joint Investigation Teams (JITs Network) and is now available on the Eurojust website. This new version of the JITs Practical Guide provides additional information, based on the improved knowledge and experiences of judicial practitioners as well as changed practices. It also includes new chapters on the financing of JITs and essential tools for practitioners, as well as case studies and recommendations to set up teams.

The new version of the guide was presented this week, during the Working Party on Cooperation in Criminal Matters (COPEN) of the Council of the European Union. The guide has been enriched with new content and visually modernised, enabling easier access to information. The document is an essential tool for all judicial practitioners considering setting up a joint investigation team and, as of now, is available in English. Digital versions in all EU languages will soon be available.
