In response to the growing threat posed by malicious use of drones across Europe, Eurojust organised a two-day expert meeting on 2 and 3 June 2026 to discuss the judicial response to the phenomenon.
The event provided a platform for the judicial authorities of EU Member States and partner third countries to exchange operational experience and best practices on dealing, at judicial level, with incidents and threats caused by drones. A specific session was also dedicated to enhancing interagency and international collaboration in this area to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated and targeted approach bringing together all relevant stakeholders.
