Judicial cooperation instruments

Eurojust supports national authorities in their fight against serious cross-border crime by facilitating the use of judicial cooperation instruments. These instruments allow, for instance, to transfer evidence from one country to another or to surrender a suspect for the purpose of a criminal prosecution or the execution of a custodial sentence. Read more about tools such as the European Arrest Warrant (EAW), the European Investigation Order (EIO) and joint investigation teams (JITs), and discover why they form invaluable assets in investigations spanning two or more countries.
