The Slovak Desk is headed by Ladislav Hamran, who is the National Member for the Slovak Republic since 2007 and President of Eurojust since October 2017.

In 2023, the Slovak Desk was involved in 207 new cases, 30 coordination meetings, 1 coordination centre, and 15 joint investigation teams.

National Member

Ladislav Hamran, National Member for the Slovak Republic, was elected President of Eurojust in October 2017. In November 2020, he was re-elected for a second term. Mr Hamran’s career as a prosecutor started in 2000 at the District Prosecutor’s Office in Nitra. In 2003, he was assigned to the General Prosecution Office in Bratislava, where he was investigating and prosecuting mainly economic crime and corruption, until his secondment to Eurojust as National Member for the Slovak Republic in 2007. He was elected Vice-President of Eurojust in December 2013, and was re-elected Vice-President in December 2016.

Deputy National Member

Michal Baco is Deputy National Member for the Slovak Republic.

Assistant to the National Member

Jozef Szabó is Assistant to the National Member for the Slovak Republic.

Seconded National Expert

Katarína Vendelová is Seconded National Expert.

National Desk Administrative Assistant

Žaneta Danihelová joined Eurojust in 2009.
