Eurojust and Switzerland signed a Cooperation Agreement in November 2008, with the first Liaison Prosecutor taking up her duties in March 2015. Since her appointment in August 2019, Tanja Bucher is the Liaison Prosecutor for Switzerland.

In 2019, the Swiss Liaison Prosecutor was involved in 284 new cases, 49 coordination meetings, 2 coordination centres and 15 joint investigation teams.
