Traineeships

Internships

The Eurojust traineeships are an excellent opportunity to get to know and sample life inside an EU agency. Recent graduates can apply for five months paid traineeships at Eurojust. Specific traineeship calls of interest are published twice a year for traineeships starting in October and March.

Eurojust offers traineeships across a wide range of specialisations, not just legal work. Depending on your educational background and interests, you might find yourself working with colleagues from the Casework Unit, the Events and Logistics Unit, and many more.

What to expect

Whatever your role, you can expect challenging hands-on work, and the chance to put knowledge and skills gained during your studies to good use. The traineeships duration is five months. All assignments start in October and March, following a dedicated traineeship selection process. The trainees are entitled to a monthly traineeship grant of EUR 1500 (in March 2024) and may claim contribution towards the travel expenses at the beginning and end of the traineeships. Please consult the traineeship policy for further details.
