The Czech Desk is headed by Lukáš Starý, who is the National Member for the Czech Republic since July 2026.

In 2025, the Czech Desk was involved in 282 new cases, 45 coordination meetings, 2 coordination centres and 45 joint investigation teams.

Mr Starý

Lukáš Starý was appointed National Member for the Czech Republic at Eurojust in July 2026. Mr Starý has worked at Eurojust since 2011, in different roles at the Czech National Desk.

During his time at Eurojust, Lukáš Starý has been actively involved in the work of Eurojust through various thematic teams, serving as chair of the Trafficking Team and the Board on Relations with Partners. He is a member of the Economic Crime Team and the Advisory Group on Organisational Development.

Mr Starý has a Master degrees in Law, and in International Relations and European Studies from the Masaryk University in Brno. In 2003 he started working at the District Public Prosecutor’s Office Karviná. He used to work as a Prosecutor at the District Public Prosecutor´s Office Karvina, branch Havířov and International Department of the General Prosecutor´s Office before joining Eurojust in 2011.

Deputy National Member

Radek Soukup is the Deputy National Member for the Czech Republic.

National Desk Administrative Assistant

Taťána Dvořáková is National Desk Administrative Assistant since May 2023.
