Eurojust and Switzerland signed a Cooperation Agreement in November 2008, with the first Liaison Prosecutor taking up her duties in March 2015.
In 2025, the Swiss Liaison Prosecutor was involved in in 275 new cases, 59 coordination meetings, 2 coordination centres and 25 joint investigation teams
Ms Flavia Roy was appointed Liaison Prosecutor for Switzerland at Eurojust in July 2026. She has worked at Eurojust since November 2024, when she joined as Deputy Liaison Prosecutor.
In her role, Ms Roy helps ensure that Swiss authorities can work together with their counterparts from the EU on complex cross-border criminal investigations. She was recently appointed to Eurojust’s Economic Crime Team, supporting specialised judicial experts in combating crimes such as swindling, fraud and money laundering.
Before joining Eurojust, Ms Roy served as a Public Prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Office in Brugg-Zurzach from 2013. From 2001 to 2013, she worked as an Investigative Judge and Public Prosecutor at the District Offices of Baden and Aarau.
Ms Roy studied law at the University of Zurich and passed her Bar exam in the Canton of Aargau.
Elisabetta Tizzoni is the Deputy Liaison Prosecutor for Switzerland since 14 July 2026.
