With the aim of making the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice better known, Eurojust organises study visits to its premises. Such visits are normally reserved for specific groups, such as diplomatic representatives, legal practitioners and groups of university law students, and are based on tailor-made programmes. Visits of general interest may also be arranged.
Eurojust also participates in The Hague International Open Day, which takes place each September.
Visits take place Monday to Friday and last between 1 hour and maximum 2 hours
For groups of visitors over 18 years old
Visits are free of charge
Generally conducted in English (other EU languages are possible)
Eurojust internal rules require all visitors to go through a security screening before entering the premises. It may take a few minutes depending on people flow, so please consider that when planning your visit.
Applicants are kindly requested to submit the visits form two to three months in advance of their intended visiting date.
The Events team replies to each application in writing, either to confirm the date requested for the visit or to suggest an alternative if the date requested is not available. Given the sensitive nature of Eurojust’s core business and the limited availability of meeting rooms, not all requests can be honoured. In addition, due to Eurojust's operational needs, we regret that visits may be cancelled at the last moment.

For participants aged 18 and over
Groups between 5 and 40 people (larger groups accepted upon request)
Maximum two visits per calendar year per university or organisation
Each group must be accompanied by a group leader whose contact details are to be provided in advance
Because of the specific nature of the activities of Eurojust, priority is given to groups of legal practitioners or university law students.
Standalone visits by individuals and groups of less than 5 people can be accommodated by joining larger groups depending on availability, which will be assessed by the Eurojust Events team.
Eurojust’s Events and Logistics Unit, in close collaboration with the Executive Support Team, organises executive visits to Eurojust and facilitates protocol requirements for the College’s external meetings. It is also responsible for all ceremonies in which the President, Vice-Presidents and National Members take part.
The Unit provides support by:
planning, coordinating, executing and supervising special events and visits of distinguished visitors (VIPs) and dignitaries to Eurojust, planned on a case-by-case basis;
applying standard protocol rules;
serving as the single point of contact within Eurojust regarding protocol issues and the organisation of VIP visits;
welcoming and ushering visitors during official functions; and
managing correspondence with VIP visitors and liaising with external agencies, including government departments and diplomatic missions, to ensure a high-quality service to visitors at all times.
