Eurojust and North Macedonia, then the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, signed a Cooperation Agreement in November 2008, with the first Liaison Prosecutor taking up her duties in November 2018.
In 2025, the Liaison Prosecutor for the Republic of Macedonia was involved in in 31 new cases, 5 coordination meetings and 1 joint investigation team.
