The objective of this Practical Guide is to provide information, guidance and advice to practitioners on the setting up and operation of joint investigation teams (JITs).

The first version of the Guide was published in March 2017, based on the practical experience acquired until then. This version provides a necessary update in response to legislative changes affecting cooperation in JITs and addresses the recent developments in the setting up and operation of JITs.
