Following her appointment, Helen Graves commented: I am delighted to have been appointed as the UK Liaison Prosecutor. I am excited about this new challenge and look forward to continuing the excellent cooperation we benefit from within Eurojust and working closer with international colleagues.

Helen Graves was qualified as a solicitor in November 2007 and worked as a prosecutor since then for the Crown Prosecution Service. During this time, she worked on investigations concerning organised crime, economic crime, homicide, human trafficking, sexual offences and youth offenders. From September 2017, she was appointed Specialist Prosecutor within the Serious Economic Organised and International Crime Division of the Crown Prosecution Service.

Starting in 2020, Helen Graves worked in the field of international judicial cooperation. In that year, she worked on bilateral cooperation with Belgium, Ireland and the Netherlands. From September 2022, she led the bilateral cooperation with several jurisdictions worldwide. In 2025, Helen Graves joined Eurojust as the Assistant to the Liaison Prosecutor, before being appointed as Liaison Prosecutor for the United Kingdom.
