On 23 October, the Ambassador of Sweden to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Per Holmström, visited Eurojust with Minister Counsellor Lisa Bjuggstam and Communication and Promotion Officer Jenny Lycke.
After a tour of the new Eurojust building and a visit with the Administrative Director, Nick Panagiotopoulos, the Ambassador and his delegation received a presentation on coordination centres, and met with the members of the Swedish Desk at Eurojust, led by the National Member for Sweden, Solveig Wollstad. The Ambassador also met the Vice-President, Klaus Meyer-Cabri, the Liaison Prosecutor for Norway, Hilde Stoltenberg and representatives of the Nordic Desks at Eurojust.
After earning degrees in Political Science and Law from Stockholm University, Per Holmström entered the diplomatic service. He has served in Stockholm, Jerusalem and Paris. Before taking up duties in the Netherlands, Ambassador Holmström was Deputy Director-General, Head of the Department for Consular Affairs and Civil Law at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm.
