More than 60 participants, from third States and the European Union, will attend a two-day meeting at Eurojust on 16 and 17 October entitled Complementarity, synergies and cooperation. The meeting, the goal of which is to improve coordination and cooperation in the field of justice between Eurojust Contact Points and Liaison Magistrates appointed by Member States, will be chaired jointly by Ms Malči Gabrijelčič, National Member for Slovenia and Chair of Eurojust’s External Relations Team, and Ms Jolien Kuitert, Deputy to the National Member for the Netherlands and Chair of Eurojust’s EJN & Liaison Magistrates Team.
The 13 guest speakers will focus on what Eurojust can offer, what Eurojust Contact Points and Liaison Magistrates can offer, cooperation, and working methodology. Two workshops will be held. Ms Michèle Coninsx, President of Eurojust and National Member for Belgium, will open the meeting.
