On 11 September, a high-level delegation of Latvian police officers visited Eurojust’s premises in The Hague.
Eurojust Vice-President, Mr Raivo Sepp, welcomed the delegation and stressed the importance of such visits in strengthening cooperation between Eurojust and the authorities of Member States.
Mr Gunārs Bundzis, National Member of Latvia at Eurojust, received the delegation, which included Mr Ints Kuzis, Head of State Police of Latvia; Mr Edijs Ceipe, Head of Customs Criminal Board; Mr Kaspars Cerneckis, Head of Financial Police of Latvia; and Mr Andrejs Grisins, Head of Criminal Police of Latvia.
During the visit, Mr Bundzis discussed the work of Eurojust in detail and how it can provide assistance to the Latvian authorities, particularly in difficult cross-border cases.
